Hello all...
im back. sian... there goes all my leave, almost all, for the entire year. yay.

Before i go to slp n wake up feelin damn shitty abt gg back to shitty land.. lemme start to blog abit (at least) for my taiwan trip.
bleahzzz it's gonna b friggin long. haa time for grandmama stories!

erps n the dawg found out abt my blog cos i was too lazy to delete my cache. bloody hell. hmmm still considering if i shld move to another site. damn.
SO DAWG, if u're reading.. GO AWAY!!!! :P

Day 1
- 1310 flight + check in + shilin

my 1st time on eva... bad bad experience..
hmm i deleted wad i was gonna say.. scaredy kitty scared kena sued for "slander" ha























wad i ordered - fish w potatoes.. not bad.. i didnt have the jelly cos stomach wasnt feelin too gd. but the dawg said it's gd. didnt q fancy the potato salad, tot sq's was much better. ;)














the dawg had chicken noodles n it wasnt that fantastic if u get wad i mean. ha

















upon landing we boarded the evergreen bus to our hotel.
everything went abt smoothly due to good prep wk done by ms kitty. haaaa

checked in @ yomi hotel.. dawg chose it... got a suite upon his mum's request. n it turned out to b bery small... we shared this tiny bed which creaked everytime we tossed. n we cldnt get another rm cos the hotel was fully bked!! pukes. so we had to tolerate it for 6 nites....





























it was oredi dinner time aft we checked in.. so we decided to have our jia-pa-lang dinner @shilin night market. yumms!
we had fried sausages, ji dan zai, ah zai mee sua, qing1 wa1 xia4 dan4 n ji1 pa2!! haaa the ji pa was v spicy.. but gooooood.
the sad ting.. it drizzled when we got there.. so didnt really get to walk the whole of shilin thoroughly..

Day 2
-hualien (east coast)

rise n shine! time to set off for hualien from our station shuanglien!
erps we brot our carriers w us.. n mine was undoubtedly the heaviest... sigh.















hands down to them for orderliness. nobody stands on the left lane. nobody.
we've got lots to catch up...





















zi4 qiang2 hao4 to hualien. it's the 2nd fastest btw. haa we bot the tix the day b4 n there werent any tix left for the early trains!! sadddd. we got the 1125am one.. which was unfortunately the earliest. didnt noe they had sch hol in jul. erps. lousy research on our parts. ha

liu ah yi from the lodging we were gonna put up @ gave dawgie a call to cfm the time to pick us up fr the train station.. n so we were greeted w smilessss @ the train stn fr liu ah yi n our driver mr chen.. they are such nice pple!! their fotos will come later..

haa the stone tingee in our driver's car was so cute. we only paid 2k for out trip n 2.5k subsequently for the following day's trip.

our driver suggested that we tour ard their beautiful east coast area for the 1st day since half a day was oredi gone..














he stopped by this stoney place while driving up the mountain for us to take a quick snapshot.. wells. smart dawg brot his stand which was extremely useful thruout the trip! kudos to the dawg!

i tink our driver was bery skilled. lik bery bery skilled. ha didnt felt car sick at all even thou he really drove us up the mountain!! the way he cut lanes(there was only 2 bloody lanes btw. 1 to n 1 fro).. tsktsktsk. scary.

4th pitstop
gorgeous place... walk down the trail n u'll find a mini campsite.. driver told us the sites have to b bked in advance... i wonder how pple can camp here.. hmm.. the view is splendid thou...
oops. pics too small.. but dun wanna clog my posts w a gazillion huge pics so.. ive learnt to create a collage instead...














we made it to the top of that rocky ting!! it was pretty hard to climb.. esp when we were all in sandals or slippers. even his mum made it up there!




















the crashing waves were nice to watch.. n erm frat boys in action below.

seafood dinner -yummms

what we had- veg that were grown by the restaurant pple, zhen zhu rice... i love it that they use zhen zhu rice everywhere in taiwan!!, fish soup, steamed fish, a lobster each, n apple sidra which seemed q popular there.. almost every eatery sells it.
the lobster was uber fresh!!












as usual he got excited when it came to seafood... lobster all over his hair. gd job.



















next, aft a v fulfillin dinner, our driver drove us to this famous shui jiao place. look at how crowded the restaurant was! fullhse!
then he dropped us @ some place to watch their a-mei zu tribal dance which we were not v interested in..
liu ah yi came to fetch us thereafter.. we passed by jay's shop on the way! i had to take a pic!

finally time to take a rest @ stone house!

her dog niu1niu1 is super obedient!
so many sporeans stayed there b4.. haaa judging by the stones that has our flag in it. haa
liu ah yi treated us to their huge watermelon. mmmm













Day 3
-Hualien (Tarako Gorge .. etc.)

at 1st i wanted to get our driver to fetch us to the zeng shi fu muah chee stall which was a famous pdt in hualien.. but our smart driver drove us to this place where they made the muah chees before sending them to the main shop hehe.. n it was extremely good n since he knew the pple there, we got them at only bout 70cents each?! muahhahaa















it was a long day of traveling!
1. we embarked on the Tarako Gorge expedition with the shakadang trail.

walked a long way thru the mountains till... we reached....

haa the last foto was very well taken rite?? his instructions were - take as if i were really climbing the mountain. n i did!!
















the baiyang trail was wad the dawg was lookin most forward to.. in the end, haa the waterfall turned out to b rather small as you can see.. n i tink they closed the path to the main one due to renovation or wad so ever... saddd.

the bridge to the waterfall was rather shaky... grrr

oh n the cave was very dark. haa initially when our driver passed us umbrellas n torch lights we were lik.. er.. r we ever gonna use it... haaa

hehe we practically survived on our havaianas thruout the trip!! :)

hehe our driver then drove us to the beach n bot you2 cong1 bing3 fr the most reputable stall there.. it was heavenly.... we even discussed abt getting the boss to set up a stall here!! haaa greedy me spilled the egg yolk in the you cong bing onto my bag.. which really turned me off... spent damn long to clean it laaaa. got some gua bao for the train journey back to taipei.. which wasnt exactly fantastic. ...




















went Shida night market for dinner! werent exactly hungry.. had all of those.. fried mushrms (sy's recommendation) in strawberry shortcake cup, Giant choc banana crepe with mango ice cream, fishball soup, n bubble tea (not in pic).
didnt eat alot.. not v hungry then..

i loveeee shida. it's the best out of all the night mkts ive been to.. it's like korea's sinchon, near the uni area, hence the stuff are nicer too!.. mayb cos many of the shops sell imported korean gds.. haa my fav buys were fr there as well!


Alright. Thats all for tonight. im so tired n i dun wanna wake up to reality tmr. boo. gambate everyone. i will publish the rest of the days soon. i hope. it takes forever to do up a post!
